AgeMax

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 21, 2026

The short version: AgeMax keeps your photos and data on your device. We have no user accounts and no server that stores your personal information. When you run a scan, a reduced-size copy of your selfie is sent to our AI provider for a few seconds to generate your result — it is not saved on our servers and is not used to train AI models. We also collect a small amount of anonymous, EU-hosted usage analytics to see where the app can be improved — never your photos, answers, or anything that identifies you.

1. Who we are

AgeMax (“we”, “us”) provides the AgeMax mobile application (the “App”). This policy explains what information the App handles and how. Questions: support@lonumy.com.

2. AgeMax is not a medical service

The App provides cosmetic estimates for entertainment and self-improvement only. “Face Age” and sub-scores are AI estimates of apparent skin characteristics — not a diagnosis, medical assessment, or measurement of your biological age or health. Do not rely on the App for medical decisions.

3. Information handled on your device

The following is stored locally on your phone (in the App’s private storage) and is not transmitted to us:

Because this data lives only on your device, deleting it (see §8) or deleting the App removes it permanently. We cannot recover it for you.

4. How your photo is analyzed

To produce a real scan result, the App sends a downscaled copy of your selfie, together with your non-identifying onboarding answers, to our AI provider, OpenAI (the OpenAI API), over an encrypted connection. The provider processes the image transiently to return scores and recommendations. Per OpenAI’s API data-usage policy, content submitted through the API is not used to train their models. We do not store the image on any server of ours. If you use “demo” mode, no image leaves your device.

We do not perform facial recognition, identity matching, or build a biometric template of your face. The App estimates cosmetic characteristics only.

5. What we do not do

6. Third-party services and analytics

To understand where people get stuck before subscribing — for example which onboarding question they stop on, or whether a scan failed — the App sends a small set of anonymous usage events to Mixpanel, with data stored in the European Union. These events record app actions only (a screen was reached, a step was completed, a purchase was attempted or succeeded or failed). They do not include your photos, scan scores, onboarding answers, birth year, name, email address, or any advertising identifier, and they are not linked to your identity. We use them solely to improve the App.

7. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device (e.g. scan-day and daily-protocol nudges). You can turn these off any time in the App or in iOS Settings.

8. Retention and deletion

Your data persists on your device until you remove it. In Settings → Delete all my data you can erase every scan, photo, and answer at once. Deleting the App also removes everything.

9. Children

AgeMax is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly handle their data. If you are under 18, use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

10. Your rights

Because your information is stored on your device and not on our servers, you already hold and control it directly — you can view it in the App and delete it at any time. Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights; contact us at support@lonumy.com and we will help where we are able.

11. Security

On-device data is protected by your device’s standard app sandboxing and encryption. Transmission to our AI provider uses encryption in transit. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

12. Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the App.
